The annual social event of the year, a celebration of the end of the school year and the beginning of summer! Thanks to the Student Council for the best dance of the year. And thanks to Mrs. Malone Smith for the pictures. Check out her art blog for more. mvrmsart.blogspot.com/
Today, June 7, students are wearing matching attire and accessories for twin day in the Spirit Week line up. For a day, two friends can “trick” people into thinking that they are one another. Some of the twin day outfits were fun, some were sporty, or mismatch-y, and creative. Some students wore sports jerseys and others wore everyday school attire. The Student Council is responsible for coming up with the ideas and events for Spirit Week, along with the all of the school dances. Twin day is a great way for students to bond and become closer with each other. Below we have posted some show-stopper outfits, from twin day!
Here is your new monthly blog for June. In my opinion, June is a great month. The beginning of summer, the end of school and getting ready to go off on whatever adventure you may face in the next 3 ½ months. But, let's enjoy June while we have it. So here is today and every other day forward with National days and holidays. Today is National Donald Duck Day and tomorrow is National Ballpoint Pen Day. Sunday is National German chocolate Cake day. Monday is National Lovers day. The 14th is Flag Day while the 18th is Father’s Day! Make sure you get on with your family and brainstorm what you want to get your Dad for his special day. Wrapping up June there is National Ice Cream Soda Day on the 20th, National Take your dog to work day on the 23rd, National Handshake day on the 29th. With the last day of June, brings National Social Media Day. Thanks for reading! Have a good summer and see you next year.
